Recently I wrote a grant through DonorsChoose asking for graphic novels for our classroom. My students love checking them out from our school library so I decided we needed some for our class library. One of the series I wrote the grant for is to get the graphic novel series Phoebe and Her Unicorn. The author of this series is Dana Claire Simpson. A friend of Dana's contacted me and asked for our school address! He mailed us a set of Phoebe books, Calvin and Hobbs, and more! There was a huge box filled with graphic novels! My students were so excited about these! I had a hard time taking my students' pictures because they wanted to find a place in the classroom to read our new books. I want to thank John Glynn for contacting me and sending my students these graphic novels! They love them! The smiles in these pictures say it all!
